The problem
of drugs and alcohol in the world today is one of the most serious problems
especially in young people.
Apparently
this problem is generated by a series of scenes from daily life that affect
social and moral sphere of citizenship.
However
this problem is very alert at the world and our country Costa Rica that is
causing secondary problems such as urban crime, family violence, deaths from
traffic accidents among other things.
In spite of
everything believe it or not international and national organizations such as
the IAFA and UNICEF through courses such as Dare try to control and prevent
these problems at the youth level and children in order to improve the quality
future lives of people.
If our
country has the ability to reduce the incidence of young people who take drugs
and drink alcohol citizenship of our country would be better and new sports and
recreation centers for youth in recovery and prevention of addictions would
create.
If the
youth of our country were thinking about other things like artistic or sports
activities could improve and forget the alcohol or drugs besides go to church
to find God would better the lives of these people.
There is
the biggest problem with these addictions are traffic accidents which results
in some shock or injury or if the accident is very violent can lead to death.
Some
activities like playing soccer, mountain biking, athletics can help improve the
mental health of people with addictions.
Playing
football is important because it helps improve the health of people with
addictions that improves respiratory part and the part of the mind and the
socialization of young addicts.
To smoke
can cause respiratory diseases list such as lung cancer, cancer of the pharynx
and larynx, loss of, among other diseases Anzaimer more memory.
To drink
alcohol can produce related stomach and kidney besides presenting Fallen memory
and behavioral disorders diseases.
Use and
abuse of drugs and alcohol by teens is very common and can have serious
consequences. In the 15-24 year age range, 50% of deaths (from accidents,
homicides) involve alcohol or drug abuse.
Drugs and alcohol also contribute to physical and sexual aggression such as
assault or rape. Possible stages of teenage experience with alcohol and drugs
include abstinence , experimentation, regular use (both recreational and
compensatory for other problems), abuse, and dependency.
A
teenager with a family history of alcohol or drug abuse and a lack of
pro-social skills can move rapidly from experimentation to patterns of serious
abuse or dependency. Some other teenagers with no family history of abuse who
experiment may also progress to abuse or dependency.
I agree with you in part that drugs and alcohol can lead to more serious problems such as violence in neighborhoods where drugs are consumed; this causes insecurity among citizens and thus make us a less attractive country to live in.
ResponderEliminarI like your emphasis on the consequences of drinking liquor and smoking cigarette, I think it is an issue that we should read over daily
I am completely agree with the classmate, because I think that in Costa Rica exists centers that seen by the health of the young and one of the priorities of this center is incentivize to the young to don't use drugs.
ResponderEliminarIn Costa Rica is real that the drugs to gone winning power in the young, but I think that the government to fail in the intent by stop the drugs.
The government need to incentivize to the young to practice new activities for example the sports and take their minds off drugs.
Of course, drugs are now everywhere and so many kids are taking them. Young people try drugs for many reasons including relaxation, socialising, curiosity or peer pressure. Alcohol, tobacco and cannabis are the most commonly used drugs by teenagers. Around one in five teenagers have tried cannabis at least once. Parents can reduce the risk of drugs for their children with some strategies. We have to pay more attention to what's happening.
